Kamori Kanko Co., Ltd. and Rusutsu Resort Tech Co., Ltd. Jointly Launch a New Digital Wallet App to Enhance the Resort Experience

Starting this winter, select lift tickets, a digital lottery, and a stamp rally will be available in advance—marking the first step toward creating a new, visitor-focused resort experience as part of the resort’s digital transformation.

Kamori Kanko Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Hisatake Kamori) and Rusutsu Resort Tech Co., Ltd. (Directors: Shintaro Hirato, Asahi Iwanaga, and Hisatake Kamori) have jointly launched today, December 11, 2025, a new mobile application they developed together, “RUSUTSU WALLET” (app name: Rusutsu App).

This release marks the first step toward the two companies’ goals of digitalizing the resort and enhancing the customer experience, and will serve as the foundation for Rusutsu Resort—one of Hokkaido’s largest integrated resort destinations—to evolve into a next-generation resort experience.

App Overview: A Digital Wallet for Smart Resort Service Management

This application is a digital wallet app that integrates with an external third-party payment gateway, enabling users to purchase and manage ski tickets, activities, and other experiential content directly from their smartphones. In addition to the convenience of accessing a wide range of services with a single device, the app aims to significantly enhance the overall resort experience by helping reduce congestion and easing stress during guests’ stays.

Looking ahead, we will progressively expand the app’s features with the goal of making it a “digital hub” for the resort, seamlessly integrating the resort’s diverse services over time.

Launch of Digital Sales for App-Exclusive Lift Tickets with Special Benefits (Available in Advance)

Starting this winter, as an app-exclusive offer, we will sell a special package that adds five hours of free bonus time to the standard 25-hour lift ticket.

Price (25 hours + 5 bonus hours)

In addition, we plan to further enhance personalization features in the future, enabling the app to automatically recommend benefits and plans tailored to each visitor’s needs—such as skiers, family travelers, long-stay guests, and inbound travelers.

Services Launching This Winter (Pilot Program)

1) App-Based Sales of Select Discounted Lift Tickets (Test Operation)

In addition to conventional ticket vending machines and counter sales, we are introducing a system that allows guests to easily purchase tickets via smartphone. This initiative aims to improve convenience and help reduce congestion at ticket sales locations.

2) Digital Lottery Sales

A new initiative designed to add an extra sense of excitement to guests’ stays at the resort. As the first phase, we will launch an app-exclusive lottery promotion.

3) Stamp Rally Within Rusutsu Resort

A walk-around activity that a wide range of visitors—including families, groups of friends, and inbound travelers—can enjoy. By exploring spots around the resort and collecting digital stamps, this initiative aims to increase the value and enjoyment of each stay.

Future Plans: Expanding App-Available Services on an Ongoing Basis

“RUSUTSU WALLET” (app name: Rusutsu App) is not limited to digital ticket sales. It is envisioned as a “digital hub” that connects services across the entire resort by integrating a wide range of offerings, including activities, retail shops, experiences, and dining.

The planned future enhancements include the following:

  • Cashless payments across the entire resort
  • Introduction of a points program and membership scheme
  • Digital integration with events and promotional campaigns
  • Advanced, personalized service recommendations based on visitor profiles

By delivering continuous value before, during, and after each visit, we aim to create a richer resort experience that encourages repeat visits.

Going forward, RUSUTSU WALLET (app name: Rusutsu App) will evolve into a mechanism for delivering and optimizing “special value itself”—benefits that have traditionally been difficult to offer—through the app. Users will be able to receive priority access to popular activities and early notifications, and app-exclusive preferential plans will be made available to a wider range of guests. In addition, we will digitally manage special benefit allocations that can be used even during peak season, building a framework to deliver them accurately to those who need them most.

We will also strengthen personalized recommendations tailored to each guest’s purpose and travel style—for example, suggesting family-friendly experiences for families, advanced skiing plans for active and experienced skiers, unique preferential offers for long-stay guests, and multilingual benefits for international visitors—delivering individually optimized proposals.

In addition, the app will provide continuous value not only during a stay, but also before and after each visit. Through notifications of exclusive offers and priority announcements, the delivery of seasonal event and benefit information, and personalized communication tailored to guests’ preferences, the app will create an experience that makes visitors feel “connected to Rusutsu even when they’re not at the resort.”

By integrating resort services and enabling smarter guest flows, more balanced congestion, personalized recommendations, and even mechanisms for special benefits and limited-time sales—all within a single wallet—the app will create a digital-driven “value-circulating resort experience.”

Furthermore, with an eye toward stronger collaboration with local businesses and positioning this initiative as a model case for tourism DX, we aim to build a digital ecosystem that generates ripple effects not only for Rusutsu Resort, but for the broader regional economy as well.

Looking ahead, we also envision expanding into the RWA (Real World Assets) domain—appropriately handling various forms of value held by the resort (such as usage rights, benefits, and real estate–related information) in digital form and enabling them to circulate intelligently. This will open up possibilities for creating new value from resort assets and for forming a new economic ecosystem that connects visitors, the local community, and businesses.
